I’ve been very busy over the past month designing all kinds of new goodies for Alpha Stamps. This shrine is one of the new pieces. I started with a Masonite shrine kit that requires assembly (very easy).
The Finished shrine measures approx. 2-3/4" wide x 3-3/4" tall (not including decorative header) x 1-3/8" deep. The inside compartment is perfectly sized to fit ATCs and measures just over 2-1/2" x 3-1/2" x 1-1/8" deep. You can fit several inside and peer at them through the window.
I painted and papered the individual pieces before constructing the shrine. The white designs on the front of the shrine are rub-on transfers.

I added a small paper coverd box on the inside of the shrine to provide a place to glue the hearts, flowers and the image of the boy and girl (so I could pop them up and give the piece more dimension).
Above is the picture of the back and you can see all the stuff I piled on the top. I hope you can keep a secret, as I left the back blank for a special reason. Every year I make my husband a Valentine’s card. This year I'm giving him this shrine. I left the back blank so I can write on it. Mums the word!
