Annabel Lee - Poe Inspired Art

I thought I would start throwing in a little Halloween themed art as I have so much to share with you.
I made the pocket watch out of paper then hinged it with a dollhouse hinge.

  2. Laura, this is wonderful!! I had my "Poe Period" in high school, and imagined I would be a writer of gothic horror too. This is a terrific homage to his poem. So many details have been added, I can't take it all in with just one viewing.

    Thanks so much.....I love Halloween!

  4. Laura, YES Halloween is going to smack us in the face soon enough. I love your Monster House for the AS swap. I bought the collage sheet with the bat woman, (and several others :)) but haven't used it yet. Now is indeed the time.

  9. Laura -

This is wonderful, so haunting! You've captured the melancholy and sadness of his poem to perfection. What is next, The Raven?

    Enjoy your weekend.
