Moldy Morty's Market - Grimsley Village - Video Tutorial - New Image Sets

Not your usual market, the customer's taste runs more to Dried Zombie Brains and  Beatrix Myopia’s Eyeball Soup.  The latest specials look interesting, particularly the 2 for 1 Roadkill.

The market is well stocked with Blood Coffee, Spicy Vampire Venom, Sour Milk, Scream Cheese, Voodoo Spirits, Anguished Vapors, and Vampire Vodka.

The Potions and Poisons sale starts at midnight so don’t be late.

Mr. Cleaver is in his usual place butchering something delightfully disgusting.
Hairy Hagatha has just released her latest cookbook, “The Ghoulish Gourmet.”  Screaming eggs at 59 cents per dozen is a steal.

As usual, the Bones brothers are playing checkers and drinking beer.

Cadaver and Digger have arrived with their delivery of bones from the graveyard.

Terrible Tina’s Tasty Treats stand is full of ghoulish goodies.

Mr. Humerus has finished his shopping and sits on a bench reading the Grimsley Village News with his pet Spider.

There he is Mr. Morty himself creeping around the corner.

This project is packed with chipboard and paper die-cut kits that make it easy to assemble, starting with the main structure which is a Deep Storefront Box, to 10 inch Bay Windows, Bagatelle Boxes and Storage Hutch (used to construct the inside wall unit), with many more smaller items like the crates, a hanging lantern, and shelving.

Further in the post, there is a link to a video tutorial where I show you how I put the market together.  In addition, I’ve created 3 new collage sheets and a digital image set.  There is a link further down where you can pop over to AlphaStamps to easily see all the products I use as well as a detailed list of products with links.

And last but not least some free images to go with the project.

GRIMSLEY VILLAGE - FORSAKEN CEMETERY - NEW IMAGE SETS - VIDEO TUTORIAL

Halloween would not be complete without a trip to Grimsley Village.  Last year we visited Dr. Deranged (the Mad Scientist), and this year it was the town’s Forsaken Cemetery.
The cemetery gates have been locked for years, no one goes in, and no one comes out.
Buried behind the gates are some infamous characters like Dracula and the members of the Usher family.
Thankfully, Dracula’s coffin is chained and locked.
Ghosts float in and out of the tombs, crypts, and mausoleums.
It looks like Anita finally got a shovel, but it seems she has left some of her parts behind.
It’s rumored that a werewolf stalks the ground.  The locals lock themselves in their homes on a full moon.
This project is packed with all kinds of goodies.  Most of the large pieces are made from kits making the project easier.  The fabulous front gate is new and really sets the stage.

I’ve used a cool product called Elements to line the open grave and give texture and sparkle to trees and vines.

Would you believe that the lighted columns are made from toilet paper tubes and tea lights.

I have a new “Forsaken Cemetery” collage sheet and digital image set to complement this project.

This sheet is packed with gruesome statues, tombstones, gargoyles, and creatures of the night.

This collage sheet contains 15 different lanterns, with two of each style of the lantern, for a total of 30 images.

This set includes all of the gruesome images from the Forsaken Cemetery Collage Sheet and many more for a total of 54 images.  Included are:
14 Tombstones, 10 Statues, 4 Gargoyles, 6 Stone Plaques, 9 Tomb Entrances, Doors, Roof & Other Architectural Pieces, 6 Creatures, 2 Stone Drapes, 2 Moons, and 1 Shovel

Sit back and relax as I reveal the secrets of the Forsaken Cemetery.

Halloween Haunted Village Event - PART 3 - GHOSTMORE MANOR

The Halloween Haunted House event continues with Part 3!

Every village has its haunted mansion, a place that is whispered about, and strangers are warned not to go near.  For Grimsley Village, it's Ghostmore Manor. Some say it's cursed other say it’s full of dark magic.  Even the dastardly Cadaver and Diggers Undertakers avoid Ghostmore.
But don’t be afraid, as I know the mistress of Ghostmore Isabella, who comes from a long line of witches many of whom are pictured on the walls.
The ghost in the mirror above the fireplace is Isabella’s sister Ophelia.  It’s a long tragic story that I think had to do with lost love.
There is no dark magic here, only light.  Isabella isn’t the least bit bothered by the gossip in town and dismisses the townspeople as “nothing but a bunch of skeletons and zombies”.
The bust at the top of the staircase is of Isabella's aunt Maudlin, an absolute shrew.  The painting is of Isabella's beloved mother Estace.
Sitting on the top of Isabella's secretary (his favorite spot) is her companion owl, Dominic.  I can see that Natasha the cat (at the top of the stairs), is trying to sneak up on Dominic.
From the view in the window it looks like it’s a full moon tonight.

Ghostmore Manor is a 7 sheet collage set or a digital image set.  Both sets include all of the images you'll need to create the manor.  You can purchase either the 7 collage sheets set or the digital image set separately or with the Ghostmore chipboard house pieces.
For those who purchase PDF collage sheets, you might find this older video tutorial of mine that covers how to how to re-size PDF formatted collage sheets, how to cut and paste individual images from the collage sheets (which is great for only printing the images you want and printing multiple version of the image) and how to re-size individual images, helpful.
