Here is the second 4 ¼ z 5 ½”
postcard I designed for Alpha
Stamps. And like the first I will be swapping it in the “Wish You Were Here” beach
postcard swap.
I started by tearing and
curling various pattern papers. After
gluing the papers to the postcard I inked the edges and using the same ink I
added color to the patterned papers. The
embellishments are a combination of seashells, beads, beaded trim and images of
shells and jewelry.
On the back of the postcard I stamped it with bars of music. Next,
I added a mermaid cut from the “On
the Boardwalk Collection” papers. I
embellished the card with more images of shells and jewelry, a piece of
cheesecloth (inked) and a brass anchor.
