Welcome

Welcome! Artfully Musing is a blog dedicated to sharing art and the techniques and products used. I'll be showcasing collage, altered and mixed media art as well as miniature. I hope you'll check back often and are inspired. Thanks for visiting! Laura

NOTICE: AlphaStamps has moved to a new website. Unfortunately, I was not aware the product links in my blog posts would not forward to the products on the new website. This has affected both the links in the posts and my Collage Sheet & Digital Image Set Catalogs. I ask for your patience while I work to fix the links. I’ll be fixing the newest posts first working back in time. Lastly, I’ll fix the catalogs. In the meantime, if you encounter broken links and need to finding something you can either use the name of the product to search the new AlphaStamps.net site or you can email me using the “Email Me” button at the top of the left column of the blog and I will do what I can to help. The Empress Tarot Card Designed For Alpha Stamps

This is the fourth and final tarot cards I designed as an inspiration piece for the "Alpha Stamps Gypsy Fortune Teller Swap”.  The base of the card is made from a chipboard pennant which measures 4” x 6”.  I dyed white feathers to match the color scheme with Ranger Alcohol Ink.
On the back, I added the explanation for the card.

Hi Laura, I really love the look of this piece alot. So elegant but yet old world...I love the detail. Please tell me where did you get the Lanterns that are hanging are they part of a collage sheet or are they actually little lanterns. Thank you so much for all the Gypsy inspiration you have shared with us.

Take care,
Diane

Just amazing as always. Never thought to dye white feathers-a brill idea. Lots of white feathers here at coast with all the seagulls around.

Love Chrissie xx

Oh wow again. You keep giving me more wonderful ideas to incorporate into my gypsy heart mixed media canvas. I will send you a picture when it is done. Where did you get those CUTE lanterns?

By the way is anyone else having problems with the comment box not opening up in the mobile phone format? Maybe just my phone...

It has been a pure joy to see the amazingly beautiful Tarot cards you have created. I love them all.

You are quite gifted. Maybe you could make an entire set and sell it....just a thought :-)
