Coral Sea - Glass Art

The base of this piece measures 4 ½” x 10 ¼” and is glass stained with alcohol inks.

I built the fish using metal bits and pieces.  I embellished and colorized the fish using paint, embossing powder, micro beads, glitter, crystals and mica flakes.

Hi Laura,

Thanks again for the ATC (I know, I don't even have it yet and I'm excited). This piece is amazing, and I especially love the steampunk fish you put together. I noticed, or rather recognized, a lot of the individual pieces you used. Do you use new pieces, or vintage, and where do you get them. I like to use old and sometimes rusty stuff and have to search online for them. Do you have any advice on local places I can look. I usually hit a circuit of antique stores every three months but I was wondering if there are suppliers on your side of town I don't know about. I do have a wholesale license, too, so any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for sharing so much of your talent.

Hugs,
Meri
